Johanna Weis

Die Monotypen bildeten sich beim Auflegen und Pressen des Papiers auf meiner für die Tierfelle und Radiographien benutzten Farbpalette. Oft entstanden sie so, wie z.B. in Big Head, andere retuschierte ich, wie in Three Heads. Der Titel entstand aus meiner Interpretation und Fantasie.

 

These monotypes were made by pressing a sheet of paper on colors prepared for use on the Animal Skins or Radiographies. Sometimes I left the result untouched, as in Big Head, at other times I retouched it, as in Three Heads, and I formulated my interpretations by means of the titles.
